Colton Dixon hails from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and made his fame on American Idol’s™ 11th season. He was favored by many to win the competition, and his departure shocked many. But, his career has taken off, and his album release this month is expected to be a sensation. He has appreared on Live! with Kelly, Access Hollywood and The Today Show, and toured with the American Idols LIVE! Tour 2012.

Opening up for Colton is Monroe’s very own, Big Al. To whom much is given, of him, much is required. This is not only a scripture that we know from the Bible, it is exemplified through the life of this young man. Big Al (Cherry) is a family man, gospel/hip-hop artist, youth pastor, motivational speaker, and high school mathematics teacher. He has nominated for “Male Urban Singer of the Year” of the 2012 Kingdom Choice Awards.
