| Prayer Request: | Dear "On My Knees:" I would like to tell you that we have thought about you a lot and have continued to pray for you. Maybe you don't know, but I buried both of my parents by my 30th birthday. My father died of cancer when I was 15 and my mom died of a staph infection 21 days after being told that he cancer was in remission. The chance of her cancer going into remission was less than 1%. Think about that. Less than 1%. Your life is NOT over and it is NOT worth giving up on. Think about your mind set. If you feel defeated, chance are, you will ultimately be defeated. I pray that you will step up and boldly say, "I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED!" You can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you. When the doctors say "no hope," when your friends say, "no hope" and when family says, "no hope," YOU stand up and say with GOD on my side, I WILL NOT be defeated because you have HOPE through HIM! I went through a miserable marriage and the ONLY thing I wanted to do was to talk to my mom and dad. They always had the right answers and I was so desperate for that conversation followed by that reassuring hug that only a parent can give. I am asking you to please contact me.
